Himalayan Salt Body Scrub with Nourishing Oils

A salt body scrub using Himalayan pink salt as the exfoliant in a moisturizing oil base, so skin feels conditioned rather than stripped after rinsing.

How to use it

1. Apply to damp skin in the shower or bath.
2. Massage in circles with light pressure. Let the crystals do the work.
3. Focus on heels, knees, and elbows.
4. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

Once or twice a week suits most skin. More often tends to leave skin tight and irritated rather than smoother.

Good to know

This is a physical exfoliant. It removes dead surface skin, which is the whole of what it does and the reason skin feels smoother. It does not detoxify, and claims that salt scrubs draw impurities out of skin are not supported.

Not for the face — salt crystals are too angular for facial skin. Avoid broken skin, sunburn, freshly shaved areas, and eczema or psoriasis flares. Rinse the tub afterwards; the oil base is slippery.
